No clear instructions on how to put together and use. It's not hard but there were like extra cog wheels - why? I've used incubators before and I was confused by what is going on. In my opinion there needs to be clear manual on how to put it together (no matter how simple it seems) and how to use and adjust settings. Some people are beginners and don't know things like how and where to add water. I figured it out but it would be better explained. I emailed/messaged company about cogs and instructions & no responseWe are first time incubators and were quite disappointed with the instructions. However, we somehow managed to figure it out and had a pretty successful (we think) hatch - 23 of 31 eggs hatched (75%).We used a SensorPush to monitor temp and humidity and found that the incubator's internal readings were either spot on (temp) or close (humidity). The incubator has preset programming so we used the chicken setting rolled with it. Keeping the humidity up at the end was a bit difficult but found wet sponges surely helped.The viewing window was not great. Disappointing really. The candling light was actually quite bright and worked well.Overall we are happy with it and will continue to use it. Next time we may even make an instructional video!I wish the window to see the eggs hatching to be cleared..I couldn't keep the heat and humidity in the first days.Thermometer was showing 37.5 but inside was 21, the sensor was to high and once I lowered down was okAlmost killed all the eggs.When you learn more about it, it is a good incubator.Still that plastic...I wish to be bigger and see throughI wish the “looking window” was not so frosted. Kinda defeats the purpose of it being a window…lol….in the pics it looks super clear. In reality….no. It’s plastic and it’s got a white hue to it. Giving it more of a frosted look than a clear one. Stupid. Please fix this design and let me know where I can order a clear window for it! Can’t open during lockdown and I need to be able to clearly and easily see who has hatched and who is still trying to!!With that said, it hatches at 90% or higher. I have only hatched chicken eggs so far. Super easy to set up and clean. I have done 4 hatches so far!Nothing, the picture of a clear viewing is not, the temp and humidity cannot be regulated, hatching success rate is 1in 6 which is a complete failure of this product. If you are looking to purchase this product you are throwing your money awayDirection are crappy but once up and running worked great hatched 24 chicks another 10 didn’t make it out of shell They were fully developed but for one reason or another didn’t make it out
